Basswood Resort

This place is incredible, it's a very comfortable RV park with the most impressive amenities and endless activities for kids. The staff go well above expectations and provide entertainment for young ones. And their store, pizza place and ice cream are a real treat. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great value, the store on site has everything you need. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. If you fish be prepared to catch lots of fat bluegill and make sure you bring a hook remover because they love to swallow hooks. Looking forward to coming back in the fall.

We rented a spot for our 42 ft rv. We were placed all the in the back of the park. Children had to travel through a middle sketchy section. If you like the smell of weed right next to you this is the place to go. We did enjoy the scheduled activities and the staff was friendly. I would suggest to reconfigure the park. Having all long term eye sores moved to another place on the property. WiFi didn’t either. Disappointed honestly

We are staying for a extended time at the campground. Good people , quiet, kid friendly, pet friendly . Lots of activities on the weekends for the kids, fishing, hiking, playgrounds. Would definitely recommend staying here. We have enjoyed it !!!

it was nice but they do have stray cats running around which you feel bad for because there’s so many but the worse part was staying for a singular night and getting bed bugs the resort itself is nice but i can’t get over the bed bugs and poor cats that are left hanging around the cabins, if i was a team member for this company i would make some type of plan to capture these poor animals and get them into homes they can thrive in

I have stayed at Basswoods 6 times over the last 6 years.It is my haven on earth.I love the all over experience from seeing the sign. I truly get so excited I am like a child in a candy store when I see that sign.The sign is about a block away than to see the Truman Mother's Quarters ( Red Cabin ) which is one of my favorite cabins.The whole time I am there is the best experience ever.From Laura at the front desk she is a absolutely a sweetheart. I truly love her. To Michelle I am not yet got to get to know her yet but will this summer.To the kitchen staff the the house keeping the house keeping manager is a real kind hearted person.To the grounds the up keep of the grounds is AWESOME. All the walking trails and the themed weekend.Basswoodsis a place for all walks of life you can fish the whole time you are at Basswoods or you can relax and do all the fun things like watch the movies under the stars or go swimming or mine for gem stones or do all the fun for the themed weekends. The cabins have different layouts that makes the cabins so much fun to stay in and I just love all the oak wood in the cabins.I have made life long memories at Basswoods and when I come I invite my loves ones to come stay with me or to come for a visit and I also take them all o er and give them tours in the golf cart of the whole property.The fishing is AESOME you can fir sure catch fishes at Basswoods.I can say sooooooo much more about Basswoods.But the best thing is you come and you experience the true experience of Basswoods and you will be hooked for life like me and my family.Laura Saunders (forever a place to come to for me)

This place is a great place to stay very nice clean has all you need for a great feeling of security people very nice everyone waves to say were glad your here

The cabin was very cozy and the location was good. The fishing was fun. Only thing that didn't work was the wi-fi and when we asked the front desk about it not working they just told us that their wi-fi always works and it's because we weren't connecting correctly. But other then that it is exactly what you paid for.

Decent camp ground, the spots are very close to each other.. the ponds are awesome to fish in but it’s not as animal friendly as I wished not really enough room for them to just hang outside. For it being a “resort” I expected more. We like state parks much better, they are cheaper and have more room.
