Comfort Inn La Porte

I know that walls are thin at hotels but this hotel had a whole new level to thin. We could hear the people above us stomping and kids running around. The doors don't close softly they slam. Inside and outside doors. Since we had the room at the end of the hallway when the outside door slammed it felt like the whole room shuddered. So early in the morning we were always woken up by other guest. You could also see light around our entire door frame. Which i attached a photo for reference. I suppose i should have taken one of the whole door. That doesnt seem overly secure. The TV was a small measley 32in, I guess because we had the jacuzzi tub is why? Im not sure, but first hotel ive been to with such a small TV. The breakfast was okay. My significant other said the biscuits were awful and that the military serves more appealing eggs than this hotel. Which is saying a lot about the eggs. The room was clean, though unsure why the one day we got clean towels but no one removed the old ones or made the bed? Was okay but not sure i would stay again.

We went on vacation and wanted to spend 3 days. We arrived on May 23rd and 24th and slept there, and when I woke up I had been bitten by a bed bug. We left immediately… In that Comfort Inn hotel, room 324, I was bitten by a bed bug. I don't recommend that hotel…

STAY HERE!!! You are surrounded by great food. Mr. Patel and his staff will take excellent care of you too!! All of our railroad people stay here when we're in town and we couldn't be happier

They had staffing on the clock at 3 AM when we needed a room they answered their phone. They were at the front desk. They checked us in professionally. The room was clean, cutting comfortable bed, ample pillows coffee maker was Keurig. However, my only major complaint is the fact that I could hear the neighbors phone call. He received at 8 o’clock in the morning five hours after we arrived I could hear verbatim every single word he had on his work meeting and it’s because of the adjoining door and thin walls so if you get a room here, don’t get one with the doorway between the two rooms. Pay attention to the parking the handicap parking is poorly labeled.

I wish I could send pictures. Wash cloth was stained and had hole in it. Room didn't have liner for ice bucket, no hair dryer

Comfort Inn is usually a really great place to spend the night. This location is the exception. I got a small spot of soy sauce on a blanket and they are trying to charge me 50$ for that. The room was dusty, dust hanging from fan above whirlpool tub and had glitter on the floor and a few spots of glitter on a stand. I have never had these issues at any other comfort inn. It was already paid for so i just got thru the night and will not stay here anymore. So if you're looking to stay affordable in LaPorte I suggest Holiday Inn Express and Suites NOT at this Comfort Inn location. Otherwise take the extra time to go the Valparaiso location. They are EXCEPTIONAL!! If I would have known the LaPorte location was going to pull this crap I would have taken pics of the room, so wish i would have now. Lesson learned.
