Candlewood Suites East Lansing by IHG

The service is good. The rooms are comfortable and there's a 24-hour cafeteria. Room cleaning is not daily.

Nice room, convenient location and quiet. Just quiet.

The hotel had a nice atmosphere, and the rooms were clean, which I appreciated. However, I did notice a couple of bugs in the room during my stay. When I mentioned this at checkout, the receptionist responded by asking if they were “the ones that have come out of hibernation.” I felt this response was dismissive and did not properly address my concern. Better customer service in handling guest feedback would have made a difference.

We recently stayed at this hotel for one night while attending a conference. Unfortunately, my experience not great from lack of cleanliness and poor customer service.When I went to bed, I noticed a bug on the window, and by the morning, it had moved to the top of the curtain. As I was heading out to check-out, I found a spider above the door. While talking to my coworker on our way to the lobby, I discovered she also had two bugs in her room.When the front desk clerk asked how our stay was, we told her about the insects. Her only response was to ask if they were the bugs that just came out of hibernation.We had a legitimate issue with the room, and instead of an apology, she expected us to be bug experts. I didn't get her name, but she was an older woman with gray hair. She seriously needs to work on her customer service skills if she is going to work the front desk. I would not stay here again; the property clearly needs to be sprayed.

first of all room was horrible , stains on bed and dishes . and curtains , cut up chairs & room stinks . and they lied about having breakfast and having a pool , this hotel is a 0 never again so dirty . but employees were very very nice and helping .

Absolutely wonderful candlewood needs to branch out on every side of town. There are sooooo many motels and hotels are run down or infested with bugs and roaches. Just sad. Congrats candlewood!

Free laundry in the workout room! Loved the room!

I travel moderate, candlewood is by far a very nice and comfortable place to stay. Room was very clean and nice. Front desk people were very courteous and helpful. I will stay there more when I come to lansing. Thank you for everything.

Mom had run into an issue and was getting the run around from price line and her credit card company. Thankfully the manager at Candlewood Suites Brittany was more than helpful and willing to go above and beyond helping rectify everything. Nice rooms, good location, and good service! When mom goes back to visit her granddaughter she we will be dealing with Candlewood Suites directly and have a great experience.

Had a super long weekend! Especially Friday was the longest! Even though I didn’t come very prepared since I really don’t leave my house ever! The staff was patient, wonderful to work with and got my room situated smoothly. Thank you for all your help!

I stay here once a year for a company party. Never had a bad experience
