Longtime customer and patron, but whatever you do, don't sit outside on their "catio" in the summer. Two MASSIVE and bold roaches leapt from the benches onto the plates and we couldn't run faster out of there. Yes, hard to avoid in the middle of L.A. but after dropping $100+, a roach looking up at you asking for a light is nightmare fuel. Put out traps, insecticide, elevate the patio, the million things other establishments do to not have roaches, but maybe don't serve food outside.

Loved the falafel burger here. Other stuff is average.

Finally came here after almost 1 year living in the area, I wanted to check the raclette cheese burger. We had a couple of beers that were served warm which we notified, but no one came back to us or checked on us at any step. We spent +150 USD for 3 burgers and 3 drinks, and we had to forget about our warm beers. That’s why I’m skeptical about the pre-tipping Toast system.. it was good, but I won’t be back nor bring anyone here, you can enjoy the historical landmark for free.

Really good steak and wine was amazing

We asked our server for extra ketchup and said he would bring it after we added it to our bill from the QR code for $1. With the prices of your food I can't have extra sauce? No one takes your order you do it yourself with a QR code and get your own water. Don't expect a tip for just walking our food out to us. Bring condiments from home I guess and I highly recommend the steak medium rare. It was perfect.

Nice bartender & yummy mac n cheese

Had a really great time at Black Cat. The atmosphere was amazing — very fun, positive, and full of good energy. The crowd was young and friendly, the staff was welcoming, and the whole place had a great vibe. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for a night out with friends or drinks after work.

I checked this bar out with a couple of friends on my birthday weekend on a whim. The people are great and friendly, everyone is easy to talk to and approachable. The drinks, my friends shared, are great. I had a non-alcoholic cocktail and enjoyed it too. Decor and ambiance are exceptional. There are different portions of the restaurant for different groups. There are even secluded rooms for, what I assume is, company-wide dinners or something similar. Very accommodating place for anyone and everyone.
