The Shoreline Hotel

I recently stayed at The Shoreline Hotel and genuinely loved the experience. The property has such a calm, peaceful atmosphere, and the lake views are absolutely beautiful especially at sunset. My room overlooked Lake Minnetonka and had a private deck, which made the stay feel especially relaxing. I loved waking up to the water in the morning and slowing down with coffee while watching the boats go by. The room itself felt cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a boutique hotel feel that’s hard to find locally. Dinner at Cabana Anna’s was another highlight. The food and drinks were genuinely delicious, and the lakeside setting made the whole evening feel special and easy to linger in. What stood out most to me was the overall atmosphere, it really feels like a hidden gem for anyone looking for a quiet lakeside staycation close to the Twin Cities. I left feeling rested, inspired, and already wanting to come back.

Went for the 1 year Anniversary party. It was very nice with bar seating, indoor dining and outdoor seating with fire pits. They allow dogs out on the patio! Gorgeous view. No real Anniversary celebration. They could have had champagne or first drink free and some free appetizers and/or cake. Popcorn machine wound be a nice touch.

Nice large rooms some with really nice lake views. The restuarant was decent. Service is top notch. Its a smaller boutique hotel but I highly recommend if you want a nice quiet place to stay on the lake.

From the moment we arrived at Shoreline Hotel in Spring Park, Minnesota, we felt completely taken care of. Emily greeted us warmly at the door, setting the tone for an incredible stay. Our room was beautiful, cozy, and so comfortable, every detail felt thoughtfully designed, especially the sustainable touches throughout the hotel. The view of the lake was absolutely perfect and added such a peaceful, relaxing vibe to our girls weekend. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure we could unwind and enjoy every moment, and it meant so much to us. A special mention to Natalie, the general manager—she is incredibly kind and genuine. You can tell she truly wants to create a meaningful, memorable experience and connection with her guests, and that’s exactly how I felt during our stay. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. This isn’t just a hotel, it’s a home away from home. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The Captain’s Suite is truly unmatched in this area—perfect for your next “impress your guests” overnight. Even without nearby bars, the experience stands on its own and delivers something memorable. A great choice for special occasions or once-in-a-lifetime stays.

I haven't stayed here but just looking at it online.... It looks to be a good reflection of the area it's in. Cold, boring, old people, and over priced. I'm from mound so yeah makes sense to me.

This place is absolutely fabulous. The rooms are bog and just beautiful with floor to ceiling lake views. Service is exceptional and Cabana Anna’s breakfast buffet and bar is perfect! Perfect place to revisit my hometown and relax. Staying here in the summer would be amazing.

We stayed in the Captains Quarters and it was fabulous! All the amenities were top notch, the service was great and the views were beautiful. I can’t wait to go back!

We came here for one night. We chose the location for an event at Wayzata HS and this came up as a beautiful option on Lake Minnetonka. The area is beautiful and feels so relaxed! Our rooms were beautiful, clean, all the amenities needed and a great view from our room balcony. All of the hotel/ restaurant staff were friendly and helped. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

What a wonderful experience. Absolutely stunning views of Lake Minnetonka. Incredibly happy to have such a unique hotel in the area. From the restaurant to the rooms, you can’t beat Shoreline Hotel. The hospitality is the best I’ve experienced in a very long time. The management and staff goes above and beyond. The breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts are stellar. Rooms are cozy, large bathrooms and the beds are more comfortable than most in hotels these days. I would highly recommend anyone give Shoreline a try. Whether it’s for a night, extended stay or even just come by for a meal and enjoy the views from the patio. Can’t go wrong with Shoreline hotel on Lake Minnetonka!

Shoreline Hotel Lake Minnetonka is a gem. We stayed last weekend Feb 20-22 with my 2 boys and we impressed by the hospitality, cleanliness, views of the bay and staff. Natalie, Hotel Manager, was so helpful with useful tips for us about the area. We ate breakfast at the Cabana Anna's and they were delicious. We saw 2 visitors riding their snowmobile for afternoon lunch and riding off subsequently! I can't imagine what the views will be during summer time!
