Hutton Hotel, Nashville, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

As an Events Specialist who plans and executes large-scale corporate events for a living, I can confidently say that the service we received from the Hutton Hotel team during our recent YA Group Leadership Summit was truly exceptional. Over the course of three days, we hosted more than 100 company leaders, and the event ran flawlessly from start to finish. From guest registration and hotel check-in to restaurant setups, conference room readiness, catering execution, and countless behind-the-scenes details, every member of the Hutton team demonstrated professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Graham, our Conference Services Manager. Quite simply, I could not have done this event without him. Graham was consistently available, responsive, and proactive throughout the planning process and onsite execution. Whether communicating via text, coordinating room setups, arranging storage, locating additional seating, or checking in multiple times a day to ensure everything met our expectations, he went above and beyond at every opportunity. One moment that perfectly exemplifies Graham's dedication occurred when a critical box needed for our stage setup could not be located. Rather than simply assisting with the search, Graham personally took ownership of the situation, reaching out to nearby hotels and exhausting every possible avenue to help us find it. That level of commitment and care is rare and did not go unnoticed. I would also like to recognize Elliot from Encore, who served as our AV partner throughout the event. His accessibility, expertise, and calm professionalism helped ensure every presentation, video, and technical component ran seamlessly. Knowing Elliot was there gave our team tremendous confidence. Additionally, a huge thank you to Kate and Clarissa for helping secure and manage our guest room block so smoothly. With over 100 leaders attending, rooming logistics can become complicated quickly, yet they made the process feel effortless. What impressed me most, however, was that the exceptional service extended far beyond our primary contacts. Every member of the team contributed to creating an outstanding experience. From the gentleman who thoughtfully double-checked that there were no nuts in the complimentary macarons, to the team member who carefully reviewed pesto ingredients for dietary concerns, to the catering staff who would save a cookie for me because they knew I was constantly running between meetings, every interaction was marked by kindness and genuine care. The restaurant teams were incredibly accommodating during walkthroughs and setup adjustments. The staff responded immediately when we needed updates to signage outside Analog. Team members routinely checked on us throughout the event, asking if there was anything they could do to improve our experience. Everyone seemed invested in our success. As someone who has worked in events for many years, I know how much effort, coordination, and teamwork are required to make a large event appear effortless. The Hutton team accomplished exactly that. They made us feel supported, valued, and cared for every step of the way. Please extend my deepest gratitude to Graham and the entire Hutton team. Stayed at the Hutton for a quick work trip. Overall, the hotel itself was great! Rooms weren’t super big but nice. My trouble came when I forgot a nice (and expensive) outfit in my hotel room closet post checkout. I called immediately when I realized I had left them. Filled out the chargeback form as instructed. Called every few days to check in as I thought it should have been as simple as someone looking in to room closet or discussing with housekeeping where the items were taken post room cleaning. Each time I was told they would check on them, were unable to locate the items, but took my name and number + would call if anything changed. I finally spoke with someone at the three week mark who at least listened to my concerns. She was unable to find the items but shed an interesting light on their policy and procedures regarding lost items. According to the hotel, once you check out of your room the items left are no longer their responsibility nor can they verify the validity of the items reported as lost. Her commentary was “if someone says they left a LV or gucci bag, we can’t just assume they are telling the truth.” Which I 100% agree with… but what is the chargerback form for then? Really disappointed in the lack of customer care and support with a simple, common mistake. Did I leave the items in the hotel room? Yes. That was my fault. Would I have expected more from the hotel staff in locating such items? Yes. Those items are still my items whether they were forgotten or not, not free game for housekeeping or hotel staff. Hopefully if you stay here you won’t forget anything!

I booked with Hutton for the Tempted by Fiction book event. The hotel was beautiful and clean and every staff member was so nice and very helpful.

A lovely, lovely experience. Every employee capable, friendly and ready to meet any need. The hotel is tastefully decorated in a mid century vibe (think upscale 60’s) with “music” touches all throughout even to our Bluetooth speaker in our room that looked just like an old guitar amp. The food was delicious in the restaurant (Evelyn’s) and several other beverage/snack options available throughout. The Hutton is also home to the Analog which is an intimate music venue. (Check out the Analog on PBS that is recorded there on site). There are also 2 recording studios on site. So much more than a place to “stay the night”. The location is very convenient to all things Nashville (Country Music Hall of Fame, Vanderbilt, Lipscomb, Belmont) but still easily accessed from the interstate, etc. And…you never know who you might run into as it caters to singers/musicians in town on music business such as recording or performing. The Hutton does not just look the part it is a haven of luxury.

Lots of hidden charges

Excellent room. Excellent shower but bed base in our room was a health hazard. Location of the Hotel was also good with easy access to public transport to Downtown Nashville.
