Good location. Get what you pay for so can't complain. Staff were friendly, rooms clean. Had a fire alarm at 5am one morning which was a false alarm but stayed on for a good 20 mins and then went off a few further times that morning. Apart from the one hiccup we had a good stay.

We have just finished our weeks stay at Rosen Inn Pointe. We were a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children ages 6, 9 & 11. We booked through TUI and were allocated 2 rooms. I requested them to be close together and we were very lucky to be given 2 next door to each other in Block A right opposite the pool which was a huge bonus for the kids. The hotel offers daily shuttles that are complimentary for hotel guests to and from Universal. They are needed to be booked in advance but this never caused us any issues. The rooms were clean upon arrival, great air con system and the maid service came daily to empty bins and full clean on the 4th day. We didn’t have a car but parking is complementary. There was a little fridge in the room along with a microwave and coffee maker. TV in each room which had plenty of choice for channels. Honestly couldn’t fault the hotel or the staff as they were all brilliant.

I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent stay in May/June 2026. I prefer to provide constructive, fair reviews, and I would like to start by stating that every staff member I dealt with was consistently pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, there were significant issues during our trip that I feel must be brought to your attention. The most critical concern was the security of our room. Upon closing the door from the inside, there is no way to confirm it is actually locked. We were inadvertently sleeping for several nights with an unsecured door due to a faulty mechanism. I only discovered this when I asked my son to lock the door behind me as I headed to the shop, and I was still able to open it from the hallway. While the staff were helpful, the resolution process was highly disruptive. An engineer had to carry out repairs while my children were trying to sleep just a few feet away, which took nearly an hour. We were assured it was fixed, but the exact same issue occurred again the following night. I was forced to cancel my plans and stay in the room, as I could not leave it unsecured while I headed out. A significant portion of my evening was wasted waiting for a second visit from an engineer, who eventually had to swap the lock with one from another room to resolve the issue. I understand that technical faults happen, but given that I have read reports of similar issues from other guests, this suggests a systemic failure. The inability to verify that a room is locked from the inside is a significant security concern that requires urgent attention. Additionally, I was disappointed by the standard of housekeeping. I am a frequent traveler, and this is the first hotel I have stayed in where the beds were not made on a daily basis. While I do not expect fresh linens every day, I believe that having the beds made daily is a standard service expectation. Regarding these disruptions, I am aware that management often suggests guests should request compensation during their stay. However, I believe that when a hotel is already fully aware of a significant failure, such as a security breach and multiple maintenance interruptions, the onus should be on the management to be proactive. Providing a gesture of goodwill, such as a complimentary breakfast, should be an automatic professional courtesy to acknowledge the time and peace of mind lost by the guest, rather than something the guest should have to advocate for themselves while on holiday. I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it is intended.

If you're writing a hotel complaint or review, here's a clearer version: The rooms are disgusting and feel more like a hostel than a 3-star hotel. There are holes in the walls and cracks in the drywall throughout the room. The beds are old, uncomfortable, and in poor condition. The furniture is damaged, worn out, and appears neglected. Overall, the room was not clean or maintained to an acceptable standard, and it did not meet the expectations of a 3-star hotel. I was very disappointed with the condition of the property and would not recommend it based on my experience. The photos and rating did not accurately reflect the quality of the accommodations.

This is a fine place but it is wild to charge for parking here. For even just the extra 10 a day id rather stay somewhere with more amenities

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel between May 11th and 21st, 2026. When checking out of the room, we forgot a small box containing jewelry inside the safe. We only realized this after arriving back in Brazil and immediately contacted the hotel to explain the situation. The hotel's response: Nothing was found in the safe. In short: It's not trustworthy! We will not stay at this hotel again.

A great budget hotel. I stayed during a conference and it was great. Lot's of families visiting attractions.

Never again full 2weeks never changed the bedding once ,dirty towels provided as clean towels , wifi very poor only works in certain places ,witnessed cleaner wipe top of bin the wash top of tables with same mop utterly disgusting
