Very clean and staff is amazing located in the heart of downtown Pensacola- This small corner lot is surrounded by all things that make Pensacola a tourists go to location. 3 floors with an elevator and all outdoor entrances to rooms. Beautiful patio area with gazebo and fountain. The have Happy Hour From 5 to 7 daily with free beer and wine with a side of chips and salsa

This was my 4th or 5th stay at Sole, I highly recommend this property, great value, striking distance to all of downtown Pensacola, very clean and well maintained, and perhaps most importantly - comfortable beds.

If I could do zero Stars I would. Our first interaction with a person at this place was a homeless man collecting cans next to the elevator. Proceeded to a room and found an old outdated motel atmosphere and immediately booked a room at the Holiday Inn. The interesting thing is all the reviews you read for this place were good. That was not our experience. I would not recommend this place....!!!!!

Good Location and Outdoor Seating, but NONE OF THAT MATTERS WHEN THEY OVERBOOK THE HOTEL AND LEAVE CUSTOMERS SCRAMBLING FOR A LAST-MINUTE ROOM—EVEN WITH A DIRECT RESERVATION. Overbooking, Dishonesty, and a Total Lack of Care Ruined What Was Supposed to Be a Relaxed Birthday Celebration and Weekend, Turning It Into Complete Stress When We Were Forced to Find Another Hotel Late at Night and Left Us Stressed and Upset. I Would Rate Zero if I Could. Save yourself some stress, read the other reviews which point to a systematic problem. Avoid Sole Inn. We had been loyal customers of Sole Inn for many years, but after what happened on our most recent trip, we will never return and strongly recommend others look elsewhere. We personally booked two rooms for two nights (for four adults) directly with Janet, made sure to mention we were celebrating a birthday, and received confirmation numbers for both rooms. After a four-hour drive, we arrived on our reservation date only to be told by the front desk clerk that only one room with a king-size bed was available. The clerk first claimed the hotel was fully booked, then changed the story and said our credit card had been declined and that they had tried to call us “multiple times during the week.” None of this was true—we never received a call, and our card worked perfectly at the hotel we ended up staying at that night. When we asked why only one room was canceled if there was supposedly a card issue, and why we weren’t contacted, the clerk had no answers and just kept repeating that he was “instructed by Janet.” We asked to speak to the manager and were given a generic number and told to leave a message. We did, but never received a call back. This fiasco ruined our birthday celebration and forced us to scramble to find another hotel late at night, disrupting all our other plans. The staff showed zero concern or effort to help, despite us being repeat guests. It was clear that nobody cared about making things right or even apologizing for the inconvenience. We ended up losing money on other reservations in town and spent our evening stressed and upset instead of celebrating as planned. Reading recent reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident—there’s a pattern of overbooking, dishonesty, and a lack of accountability. It’s a shame because the location is good and we used to enjoy the outdoor seating area and proximity to downtown, but none of that matters when you can’t trust the staff to honor your reservation or treat you with basic respect. Bottom line: Our confirmed reservation wasn’t honored, the staff lied about the reasons, and management never responded. What used to be a place for good memories is now a source of stress and disappointment. I would rate them zero if I could. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else in Pensacola.

Clean, updated rooms. Right in the middle of the Palafox area downtown Pensacola. Happy hour when we're out there, we even got a parade we weren't expecting.
