White Porch Inn Art Hotel

The first thing you notice when you walk in to The White Porch Inn, is the warm and inviting fireplace in the main living room. Mary Beth is there to greet you, and show you to your room. The rooms are amazing and cozy and quiet. Every day at 4-ish, there’s Tea, or Happy Hour (wine, beer, cocktails) where you can mingle with the other guests. Guests actually book the same week so that they can see each other again! The location is superb. On Johnson Street, which intersects with Commercial Street. You’re just a hop skip away from the restaurants, bars and shopping. The White Porch in can be your home away from home. Trust me, you’ll love it.

Last week I went to Provincetown and my house had no electricity. We almost headed back to Boston but found out through a friend that White Porch Inn had power because they had a generator. I called them and the General Manager, Marybeth Bongiovanni, told us to come on by. She was so friendly and warm that we were excited to head over. We had no idea what a wonderful experience we were about to have! What started out as a complete bummer of a day, turned out to be a lovely evening in front of the cozy fireplace. The Inn was clean and the art and decor is really interesting. Our room was not large but it had everything we needed, including a fireplace!

We booked the White Porch Inn at the last minute Valentines Day weekend. The Inn was beautiful but the five stars is driven by the service. Mary Beth is the best, so very helpful and great energy. We will return!

The White Porch Inn is an absolute gem! Mary Beth is the hotel manager and she is such a thoughtful and caring host. She reminds me of Lorelei Gilmore! The hotel is beautifully renovated to maintain a historic charm that is both comfortable, chic and contemporary. We visited in the winter, and this hotel is so cozy and comfortable. Beautiful light shines through the bay windows while you drink espresso! visiting in summer would be wonderful as it is in the best location, minutes from the beach and cafes and galleries.

Mary Beth & Hana are just the best. They made us feel completely welcome on very short notice during a very big blizzard. I mean, you know how sometimes the world feels increasingly cold, faceless, and impersonal, but then you get an unexpected booster shot to the part of your brain responsible for your continued belief in gracious, community-minded kindness? Stay at the White Porch Inn! Be restored!

I had such a nice time staying in the long point room! The amenities are incredible, and there is great lighting and view of the town. Very clean and private space. The staff is so kind - highly recommend!

The attention to detail for everything was incredible. That welcoming text before you arrive I have never experienced before in Ptown and made us want to check in right away. Mary Beth and Hanna were a dynamite duo. Two extremely friendly and capable people you want to keep a long long time. The guest house was charming with modern touches with eye catching art everywhere you looked. There was even an opportunity to purchase. The cleanliness was 10 stars and location was the same. I seldom write reviews but this one night stay was so remarkable and memorable I had to submit one for others to realize this chic guesthouse is really a gem in a beautiful part of the world.

Gib & Mary Beth are awesome hosts! The inn is perfection- rooms, comfort, ambience & location. Continental breakfast and wine on the porch added to our wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

A magical stay in a fabulous hotel. The White Porch Inn is perfectly located in the centre of town, just off Commercial Street. My room was excellent - beautifully decorated, very comfy bed, and nice bathroom. Tom and his team were so helpful, with lots of helpful local knowledge when I needed it. The breakfast (included) is delicious, and there is a good coffee machine in the hall as well. It's a lovely boutique hotel with bags of charm. Highly recommended!

Our stay was short, but Gib was a great host. Our room was great and the location was fantastic!

Fantastic BnB - super friendly and accommodating staff, 24 hr coffee/tea service, great location. Has a living room common area (unusual for an old BnB house) and a relaxing covered porch great for coffee and reading.
