Woodlands Hotel & Leisure Centre

No basics, they didn’t clean our room despite the door sign requesting it. The next morning, I called reception asking for clean towels. They said they were on the way, but an hour later I called again and was told there was no housekeeping available and no clean towels left, which I found unbelievable for a hotel. At payment, we wanted to pay with a different card, but they refused to accept it even when it was only a secured charge. One day the breakfast was fine, but on the second day the buffet was almost empty, with staff just walking by and not restocking anything. Good think at least they have parking free

Didn't stay only had a meal here and it was very nice lovely girl served us her name was Magda I think excellent service from her . So I would definitely recommend the food from what we had . Turkey and ham . Battered fish and chips and also served with a lovely salad . Choc cake . Sherry trifle.

Ate there today, waitress was lovely the food was lovely, the fool in the booth beside us shouting and throwing comments at her wasn’t. The manger walking around on the phone shouting at some fellas IBAN talking about work safe passes so unprofessional get your stuff together get a grip place is run down to bits. Embarrassing.

commenting on behalf who is a member of the leisure Centre here for years. As someone who swims to improve arthritis and daily pain, several mornings a week, for years now, after repeated communication with staff about the cold temperature of the pool, I unfortunately won't be renewing 2 memberships. We will miss it. Would appreciate the temperature to be increased and kept that way, this would keep us as members long term.

Great stay at the hotel! friendly staff, no issue was too much! Nice, clean facilities and a great location.
