Fair Dayは、ニュータウンの端にあるキャンパーダウンのビクトリア・パークで無料のデイタイムパーティーを開催し、シドニー・ゲイ＆レズビアン・マルディグラのシーズン幕開けを飾ります。200以上のコミュニティブース、フードトラック、ポップアップバー、メインステージ、そしてたくさんのピクニックラグが用意されています。これは、地元の人々が友人や犬、子供たちと一緒に実際に参加するマルディグラのイベントであり、費用は一切かかりません。
イベントは概ね午前10時から午後9時まで行われます。長年続く犬のコンテスト「Doggywood」は観客に大人気です。早めにご到着いただければ、隣接するビクトリア・パーク・プールの入場も無料で楽しめます。日陰を確保したい場合は正午前に到着することをおすすめします。斜面はすぐに埋まってしまいます。シドニーの2月は非常に暑いため、水と日焼け止めを持参してください。
シドニー市によると、過去のFair Dayには7万人以上が集まりました。2026年版は2026年2月15日日曜日に開催され、Livin' JoyのJanice RobinsonやCourtney Actが出演しました。パレードは2月28日に行われます。Fair Dayは通常、2月中旬から下旬の日曜日に開催されます。当サイトの確認時点では、Mardi Grasは2027年のプログラムを発表していないため、オンラインで見かける2027年の日程はすべて推測に過ぎません。
