Sahodaran is one of India's oldest LGBTQ+ community organisations, founded in Chennai in 1998 by Sunil Menon. It works mainly with gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men, running sexual-health outreach, HIV prevention, counselling, mental-health support and coming-out groups. The office is on the first floor of a building in Railway Colony, Aminjikarai. It isn't a drop-in social space, so phone ahead if you want to visit or get involved. Sahodaran works alongside other city groups such as Orinam and Nirangal around Chennai's Pride month.
