Visitors frequently praise the friendly service and home-style breakfast food, with some calling it a "must stop" and appreciating the warm syrup and ample free parking. However, some reviewers found the food not worth the price, citing issues like unsalted grits, dry eggs, and French toast that looked like Texas toast, while others felt the syrup options didn't always complement their dishes.

We were there on Thursday and stayed overnight. Warm welcome, the room was air-conditioned and cozy. The breakfast does not shame a luxurious hotel. Everything was delicious and the treatment was kind. We will definitely be back!!!

: Highly recommend the Beit Katan Hotel in the Valley! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We held a Shabbat for my son's groom there, and the experience was simply excellent from start to finish. The rooms were cozy, clean and tidy, the food was excellent, delicious and plentiful, and the service was at a very high level. The staff was kind, patient and helpful, took care of everything we needed and made us feel at home. The whole family and guests had a great time, and everything was conducted in a pleasant and professional manner. A big thank you to all the hotel staff who helped make our Shabbat special, happy and unforgettable. Definitely a place we would be happy to return to and which we recommend wholeheartedly! ❤️

I booked a double room, I was not told or written that the bed in the room would actually consist of two beds, which was very disappointing in a double sense Apart from the fact that the shower was in poor condition The service was nice, the food was good and the location was excellent

With Amir at the reception we were greeted warmly and had all our needs met. The room was nice and the beds were extremely comfortable . It had a little balcony which was lovely. The food was superb. It was a home away from home. We’d go back there any time.

This is a Bed and Breakfast. They continue to put out the same food day after day even if it gets dry and hard. The place looks like it has not been renovated for decades. Often there was no one at the front desk to be able to ask questions. On the weekends and some evenings, they rent out their dining hall to groups and kids run around the entire hotel screaming without any supervision. My last night when I needed to get up at 5 AM to catch my train to the airport, there was a party going on until 2 AM with extremely loud music coming through speakers, vibrating throughout the building.

We stayed at the hotel the experience was unpleasant at all very old rooms. The breakfast was not tasty from a small variety of espresso machine. Nothing minimal is not found. The dining room looks like a dining room at a military base. Both at night and in the afternoon the noise of guests in the hallways was really nasty.

What you see in the photos is not what you get , the room is very small , no elevator , the dinning room is very poor , even no umlaut at the morning And no coffee machine , the staff are very nice and try to do there best but nothing more , at the weekend there was guest families at the hotel, and we can't get rest as they do a lot of noise , when we ask for a little quite from the staff they said sorry we have also them as a guests , so what about us ????

I arrived at a small hotel in the valley for one night because I had a two-day conference in Jerusalem and wanted to save the trips from the north. The hotel is small, intimate and cute, its building is very impressive especially at night. The only room I was in was small but definitely enough (even for a couple) Arriving at the hotel was convenient because a lot of bus lines stop around. Breakfast was minimal but quite enough. Service providers are kind and helpful. The room was clean and with a nice smell of laundry. Cons: There was no coffee and hot water at the coffee shop, and there was no one to turn to because there was no one at the reception. It's a bit out there. All in all, my hotel experience was good, and in return for the price I paid, I'll probably get back to it if I have to.

I wanted to love this place The location is wonderful, but just about everything else was just awful. The “room” felt like I was in a convent - small, cramped, almost no storage space, rock-hard bed, and a tiny, not very clean bathroom with no amenities. Honestly, when I first saw the room, I was shocked. The breakfast was ok, nothing great. And staff rarely seemed to be around. There was no one at the desk when I arrived so I had to hang around - jet lagged and exhausted - to check in. My back ached the whole time I was there. Would not recommend.

Wouldn’t recommend. Tiny rooms, filthy, cramped bathroom, old worn-out towels, no amenities or common area to sit, no parking, and loud traffic noise in the mornings. Breakfast was underwhelming (dry eggs, stale bread). Staff were often nowhere to be found, even during normal hours when the front door was unlocked. They were also indifferent and ignored complaints about ear-splitting music that made the walls vibrate from a hotel event until 11 PM. When I requested a refund, the hotel refused, and I had to fight through the booking agent multiple times just to get even a partial one. Affordable, but still not worth the price.

Great price for a homey, comfy boutique hotel. Located in Bakah great area filled with cool hip restaurants. I stayed 10 days. Delicious Breakfast included. Staff seemed nice though luckily I didn’t need any assistance throughout my stay. Single room might be small but didn’t spend much time indoors. Again great low price for being in nice area in Jerusalem. Short Walk to restaurant and sightseeing. This is a true Diamond in the rough !!

The best feature of this hotel is its location just off the Hebron Road with bus stops close by. Opposite are a bank, a pharmacy, a supermarket and there are many great shops, restaurants and cafes a short walk away. Less than 15 minutes away is First Station. The breakfast is average. The bed was softer than I prefer. There are laundries very close to the hotel. There is no guaranteed parking though I always found parking though this may not be the case during normal times. The staff are helpful. The only down sides were the lack of reliable internet and the W/C which I considered to be cramped.

The staff is just the most helpful. The person at the front desk spent so much time helping us get precise walking directions to the Israel museum , good places to eat, etc. The room is well appointed. The shower is the best, powerful rain shower lots of hot water. Bed is comfortable. Everything is very clean. Breakfast which is included is a bountiful feast including omelets, Israeli salads, vegetables, yogurt, breads, cereal, various coffees, tea, juices etc. There is a refreshment area open where you can always get hot/cold water and tea/coffee. A very comfortable inviting place, well recommended!

"Little House in the Valley" We don't buy food from places that make their guests feel bad. We don't book vacations in places that don't respect you exactly as you are. "Little House in Rehavia" and "Little House in the Valley" are owned by the same people. So my story (in short) is that I stayed one weekend at a small house in Rehavia. And in the dining room, at breakfast, the people in charge of the dining room made faces at me like "Tisha B'Av"... I remember leaving there with a sour and very unpleasant feeling after paying the best of my money for the accommodation and not feeling welcome at all... 😢 They treat each guest differently. I also documented my experience on recordings. I did not enjoy it and will not return again... And I do not recommend it to anyone! **** Update: Wednesday, 29.04.2026, at: 09:13 And now I will leave my story here at length (I found in my notes the saved review I wrote at the time about "Little House in Rehavia", but since there is no mention of the business on Google Maps (only of Little House in the Valley, which is actually the same owners as you know) I decided to give up and not write my review... Recently I see posts on Facebook of the "Little House in the Valley" hotel Regarding the breakfasts they offer even to customers who don't book a stay at the hotel, at a cost of 70 NIS per person and in addition to the catering service they offer for the weekend - a dish per person for 149 NIS for a Shabbat meal and I felt it was time for people to really understand how much the place cares about its customers... So here is my full review: **** Business review / Matlyuchka with love "Little House in Rehavia" 20 Ibn Ezra Street - Rehavia Neighborhood - Jerusalem Date of stay: Monday to Wednesday - 02.12 to 04.12.2024 Room 206 - Second floor with elevator **** "Unpleasant hospitality experience" The room is very small With a double bed that was actually very comfortable... But there is no kettle in the room, no microwave, no hairdryer The mini safe - there are no instructions for use/operation and it doesn't work. The rooms are very close to each other and you can hear almost every word you say... You can hear people Talking on the phone from the neighboring rooms... I hear someone talking on the phone and it's unpleasant 🙄 I mean, talking in the rooms is not allowed, because there really is no privacy! Speak softly so they don't hear you, shhhh... **** At breakfast >>> Hussam the receptionist asks everyone at breakfast on Tuesday (03.12) the same questions as Tochi. His energy is unpleasant, it's very noticeable, he doesn't transmit human warmth and acceptance and emotional inclusion, but addresses in a very technical way, without a smile and asks if everything is okay in the room, he doesn't start a conversation, doesn't ask the person's name, only what the room number is and if towels/cleaning are needed... While I was having breakfast, I left the table for a second to go up to the room because I wanted to check something. My whole mouth is full of leftover food and he forces me to talk to him when I don't want to talk to anyone at all, I'm completely tired, I just want to eat something small, drink coffee and go to sleep... I came to rest, I didn't come to make contact with unkind people. * Lemonade has Hospital taste * * The scrambled egg, cut into very small pieces and not well baked, at a lukewarm to cold temperature and not tasty. Pale. Like a hospital. * * * Everything else was fine, relatively speaking. * * * * Whoever made the salad, put lemon salt in the carrot and cabbage salad that was very tired and I'm sure they didn't make it in the morning but the night before. * * * * * There was also purple cabbage that I didn't take but of course they put lemon salt in it too, horrible. Who puts lemon salt in food??!!! It's a poison that's designed to remove scale from kettles! In the room >>> There's a flat-screen Tumblevision in the room with a Yes converter box Overall it's fine, I don't usually watch the programming device of the media mind control of the propaganda trumpeters of the establishment media. I saw a small part of an old Israeli movie with Shayka Ofir (late) and Yosef Shiloah (late) two huge actors from their time And more! Outside the building >>> Outside there is the noise of renovations, of hammers and Arab workers shouting at each other in a bad way and ah ah ah just like donkeys. And also a truck that honks with the noise of reversing for hours... In short, unpleasant. The bathroom >>> There is a very pleasant bathroom with hot water and a heater. It was fun. There is one large towel, one small towel, and one more small towel that is not intended for the feet but they put it on the corner of the bathroom so that they know it is intended for that... There are two small tubes of shampoo and one of body lotion... Both in the room (the private area) And in the dining room (the shared area) >>> Both in the private area and
