Rainbow Rotorua (Rotorua Chamber of Pride)

Rainbow Rotorua, which started as Rotorua Chamber of Pride, is the city's LGBTQIA+ charitable trust (charity CC62524), with Tāmati Coffey as co-chair. The Rotorua Daily Post reported in December 2025 that it runs weekly rainbow walks and monthly socials, plus speakers and workshops, with a part-time coordinator. Its main event is Matariki Pride, which the Daily Post put at 13 events from 11 June to 4 July 2026, up from four in 2025.
