Hotel Au Repos Des Chasseurs
Visitors frequently praise the excellent food, particularly the meat dishes and pizzas, and the warm welcome from the owner and friendly staff. However, some guests have experienced issues with unprofessional or inattentive service from certain waiters, and one reviewer noted the hotel itself is very basic with some outdated amenities.

Once again, delicious meal, friendly welcome, impeccable service, pleasant atmosphere, good value for money.
Had a lovely lunch! Tasty food and excellent service. We'll be back
We went for lunch today, Father's Day, and had a reservation for 2 pm. Imagine our surprise to find the restaurant half empty! That didn't stop them from making us wait 18 minutes for the menu! We ordered salmon carpaccio and beef carpaccio for me. After 30 minutes, they finally brought the salmon for my mother (90 years old) and a beef tartare! I called the waiter, who hadn't taken down the orders, even though I had ordered beef carpaccio. So, the service was practically nonexistent. On top of that, the prices had gone up. The only waiter who came to apologize was the very kind Black waiter—he was the only one... This was our fifth visit, I should point out! I wouldn't recommend it if you don't want to spend two hours at the table for a single dish. A complete disappointment.
We ate on the terrace in April; a very pleasant setting on the edge of the forest. Parking was very easy near the restaurant. Perfect service, excellent food. Reasonable prices. We returned for lunch on June 12th; the staff were very attentive and the brasserie menu was still excellent. 10/10
Poor value for money. Everything is extra. A small, unremarkable brasserie. You're paying for the location... and even then! You'd expect a more refined approach to customer service if you're going to want to go back.
We had a truly wonderful meal: fish soup and shrimp croquettes, followed by a perfectly rare steak and grilled salmon, accompanied by a superb white wine. The welcome was excellent and the service very good. Thank you to Sylvie, who was very attentive. Thank you for this lovely experience, and next time we'll try the all-you-can-eat meat fondue. Christophe & Patricia from Uccle. Restaurant side.
Excellent and very attentive service, highly recommended
