Hotel Les Tanneurs

I'm giving it 5 stars because I know the hotel and have stayed there in the past. It's unbelievable that nowadays you have to send an email to book a room. I'm not exactly tech-savvy, but I went to eat at L'Espièglerie yesterday and they didn't ask for an email to book. You might say, "That's the last straw..." When I book something, my word is my bond!

Top hotel, top location, great restaurant

Charming hotel located in an old building. Very clean. The only slight drawback is the very limited parking.

A charming hotel in the heart of Namur

Great hotel, had a delicious meal, basic breakfast but super fresh

The hotel was very nice. The room was spacious. The parking was advertised as free but very small. We had indicated when booking that we would be arriving by car from the Paris region around midnight. There were no spaces available in the parking lot upon our arrival, so we had to park on the street and pay the meter in the morning, as parking is free at night but payable from 9:00 AM (this needs to be verified).

It was the last available room, small and no air conditioning, but the cheapest ever. Despite everything, it wasn't too bad. A fan in the open window made everything bearable. This hotel is the most creative I have ever visited. You should go there for that reason alone. Add to that a beautiful location and a good, sought-after restaurant.

The rooms were dirty, with hair on the sheets and uncomfortable beds. We also found several spiders in the corners of the bathroom. The hotel's location is good, very close to the city center, but the breakfast was overpriced and the services were poor. The only service we received was luggage storage for an hour before our departure.

If I could put a zero, I would have! Rude and completely uninterested in hotel guests! They're more interested in the restaurants and their regulars... it's a shame because the rooms are really large and well-furnished, but we had a suite for 4 nights with a bathroom that made you want to throw up as soon as you opened it. The smell of sewer was so strong that they tried to cover it with perfume and the window was always open. They didn't even bother to figure out how to fix it or what was okay for them. Parking is not bookable, and if they can, they prefer to save spots for restaurant guests. Forget it.

During our day trip to Namur, we were able to have lunch at Hotel Les Tanneurs. We were a group of 48 people, yet the service was very smooth and friendly. As a starter, we had a delicious quiche, pork ribs as a main course, and to finish, a panna cotta with coffee. Beautiful, stylish interior, but there were an enormous number of stairs.
