Parkhotel Plzeň (Congress Center)

I've been living here occasionally for work for over 15 years. Originally a nice place that is gradually becoming a hostel. Last time in the side building, even the hallway, there was a smell, fortunately the room was clean. No cleaning during the stay. Extremely rude girls at the reception. Disgraceful overpriced bar, disgusting restaurant. But the breakfast is surprisingly good.

The lack of a bottle of water and a kettle in the room is very poor, even for a 3-star hotel—it seriously spoils the overall impression. The rooms are otherwise clean and spacious.

Overall, a well-located hotel—the city center is easily accessible by bus, there's a pool, and guests have free access to a really nice gym. Breakfast was truly excellent—fresh, constantly replenished, and varied. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. Regarding the rooms themselves: they were very clean and thoroughly cleaned. Air conditioning was provided and worked perfectly. However, we practically didn't get a wink of sleep during our stay. This was due to the very uncomfortable mattresses and the light shining into the rooms from the hallway. The smells in the entrance area of ​​the annex were also very strong for me personally—we couldn't pinpoint the source, but it wasn't pleasant. But most people go to a hotel for one thing: to get a good night's sleep and be ready for the day... Therefore, I would unfortunately avoid this hotel in the future, even though we were generally very satisfied!

Padel courts not prepared, reception works poorly.

You can definitely think of a better place to stay in Pilsen. Nothing that would leave any memories. The pool is not working, the rooms are average and the price is above average. Next time somewhere else...
