Café Sappho

Cafe Sappho, also known as Ernas Taverna, is a social LGBTQ meeting place at Mejlgade 71 in the Latin Quarter - preferably for women, though men are welcome too. It is a cosy, non-smoking, living-room-style cafe-bar rather than a party spot, and several local groups meet here, including LGBT Youth and Aarhus Pride. It is a members' venue: membership is listed at 50 kroner a year, sold at the door or on sapphoaarhus.dk. Listed hours are Fridays 19:00-23:00, plus the first and third Saturday of the month.
