Visitors frequently praise the charming atmosphere, genuine hospitality, and delicious food, with many highlighting the luxurious seafood buffet and attentive service. However, some guests have experienced disappointment with food quality on occasion, noting that dishes were not up to their usual standard or seemed to be prepared in advance.

この場所について Svostrup Kro

Svostrup Kro is a traditional Danish country inn from the 19th century, on the banks of the Gudenå river between Silkeborg and Kjellerup. It is a mainstream inn and restaurant, listed as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. The restaurant serves classic Danish food and is the main draw for many of its visitors, judging by thousands of Google reviews. The river setting makes it a natural stop for canoe trips on the Gudenå and for walks in the Silkeborg lake district. You need a car to get here, and rooms are limited, so book ahead in summer.

Came by on a motorbike and ate there. Really nice place, good service and really delicious food, spiced up with a nice view. Would like a larger selection of non-alcoholic beer, if anything could be improved.
