Ultra Klubs is Bordeaux's main gay nightclub, open since 2017 on Place Andre Meunier, between Saint-Michel and Saint-Jean station south of the centre. It is a large room, with a capacity of around 500, built for dancing. There is a drag stage, and the crowd is mixed and young-leaning.
Nights run from around midnight until dawn at weekends, with house and pop sets, drag performances and themed parties. Earlier in the evening, start in the bars of the old town and take a tram or taxi down. Reviews are mixed on door policy and prices (3.9 from about 380), so bring ID.
