Lou Queernaval、ニースのカーニバルにおけるクィアの夜は、マセナ広場での無料の夜のパレードで幕を開けます。ドラッグクイーン、ダンスチーム、衣装をまとったフロートなどが見られ、2時間にわたる壮大なスペクタクルとなります。このイベントは2015年に地元のLGBTQIA+団体によって開始され、以来市の資金援助を得て公式カーニバルプログラムの一部となりました。「Lou」という名前は現地語へのオマージュであり、ニース方言で「the」を意味します。
これは大きなイベントです：2026年には23の劇団、350人のアーティストとボランティアが参加し、長年の活動家であるDanaが女王に戴冠しました。同年の後援者はフランス人歌手Michèle Torrで、テーマ『Vive la Reine!』にもぴったり合っています。
入場するには席を予約する必要があります。料金は無料ですが、予約が必須です。リビエラ海岸の2月の夜は寒くなることがあるので、衣装の上にコートを着ることを忘れないでください。パレードや花の戦いを含むカーニバルの他の部分は、別途チケットが必要です。
