High class hotel close to Arc de triomphe

I went to Fouquet’s for lunch and enjoyed an elegant, refined setting that lived up to the restaurant’s reputation. The dishes were high-quality and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the beef fillet, accompanied by fresh and flavorful green beans. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the overall dish was simple, elegant, and delicious. The strawberry tartlet, topped with fresh strawberries and edible flowers, was also delightful. It was fresh, light, and perfectly presented. The service was professional, attentive, and discreet, with a real attention to detail. The setting and atmosphere fully contributed to this chic Parisian experience.

Overall, a positive experience, but a few details still need to be ironed out to reach the level of a Palace hotel. The objective of this visit was twofold: to assess the establishment's potential for future important client meetings, and also to discover what the recent upgrade to Palace status had brought to the overall experience. We had initially booked a table at the restaurant, but following a misunderstanding with the receptionist, we ended up in the brasserie. This difference is significant, as the menu and the experience are clearly not the same. The dishes were decent, rather simple, but without any real "wow" factor. Fortunately, we were still able to enjoy the dessert that was planned for the restaurant, even if this first part of the experience left us wanting more. We then had an appointment at the Spa Diane Barrière for a massage. The facilities are pleasant and generally meet expectations, although compared to some high-end spas I've tried elsewhere in Europe, they don't particularly stand out. The Ice Room and the custom-made jacuzzi do add a nice touch. A dedicated scrub area or ritual in the hammam would also be a real plus. On the other hand, the massage was a huge success: clearly one of the best I've ever experienced. A big thank you to Dora, a true professional, as precise as she was attentive. She alone significantly elevates the spa experience. The only downside to this relaxing moment was the construction noise near the massage rooms, which unfortunately disrupted the immersion. Ultimately, the place remains very pleasant and the overall experience positive. However, I have some reservations about the brasserie, which seemed more geared towards tourists than reflecting the establishment's "Palace" status. Compared to other Palaces, the potential is definitely there, but in my opinion, a few details are still missing, particularly in the consistency of service and experience, to reach a truly impeccable level.

Everyone from the doormen, bellhop, check in staff, concierge team, waitstaff and cleaning crew went above & beyond their expected duties to be of service to us. We stayed at HBLF for our special anniversary. They made us feel like family and assisted us in every way: From dinner reservations, show tickets, last minute hair appointments to assistance with luxury shopping. We look forward to many more stays here!

There are Parisian addresses that are more than just restaurants; they are true institutions. Fouquet’s Paris is undeniably one of them. From the moment you arrive, the magic takes hold: valet parking, a personalized and attentive welcome, the elegance of the setting… You enter a world steeped in history, intimately linked to cinema, music, and the great figures who have made Paris shine. Here, stars are regulars, and some tables even bear plaques indicating their preferred seats. On the walls, the famous black and white portraits, created in the legendary style of Studio Harcourt Paris, immortalize singers, actors, and other prominent figures. The atmosphere is sumptuous: warm wood paneling, velvet, soft lighting, and elegantly set tables create a hushed setting where time seems to stand still. But the elegance of Fouquet’s is also reflected in its staff. The women wear understated, refined, and perfectly elegant outfits, while the men maintain this Parisian grand house look with impeccable shirts, bow ties, and patent leather shoes. Every detail counts and plays an integral part in the restaurant's ritual. On the plate, you'll find the great classics of French cuisine, served with precision and expertise. And to end this experience in style, it's hard to resist the quintessential crêpe Suzette with Grand Marnier, prepared and flambéed tableside with Parisian flair. Lunch or dinner at Fouquet's is ultimately much more than just a meal: it's experiencing a piece of Paris, its history, its cinema, and its elegance. A legendary and unmissable address where, for the duration of a meal, you can savor both French gastronomy and the magic of Paris. 🗼💫⭐️🏛️

Expensive brasserie

We had the pleasure of dining at Fouquet's. The setting was romantic, the table settings and dishes were elegant and delicious, and the service was impeccable. However, we were somewhat disappointed by the condition of the men's restrooms, which could use a refresh.

Room booked for two nights alone… The welcome was perfect. I felt safe, the room was absolutely perfect, clean, and spacious. Comfortable bedding. No noise, no disturbances. Great experience!
