Sofia is a small one-room queer café-bar on Wrangelstraße in Kreuzberg's SO36 corner, a few minutes from U-Bahn Schlesisches Tor. It draws gay men and lesbians, mostly locals, and works as a neighbourhood hangout for drinks and talk, not a party venue. Smoking is allowed inside, which matters if you're sensitive to it.
It opens early afternoon every day except Sunday, closing at midnight early in the week and around 3am on Friday and Saturday. It's a good first or last stop around the bars of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, just across the Oberbaum Bridge.

A dimly lit, left-wing/queer bar in the Wrangelkiez neighborhood. Cheap drinks, smoking area, good music. It still feels like the "old Kreuzberg".
