TheLiberate opened in 2012 as a gay cocktail bar in Mitte, near Hackescher Markt, run by the people behind Heile Welt and More on Motzstraße. It took up about 300 m² split into three bars, decorated in gold and black, and served cocktails, champagne and beer, with no food. It mostly drew men in their 30s and 40s. The listing has no Google reviews, and the hours on file are weekday office hours, which don't fit a bar. We think it has closed, so confirm before going.
