The TEDDY Foundation (Förderverein TEDDY) is a Berlin non-profit that promotes queer film. It runs the TEDDY Award, the LGBTQ+ prize of the Berlin International Film Festival, founded in 1987 by filmmakers Wieland Speck and Manfred Salzgeber. The awards are presented during the Berlinale each February. The Schöneberg address is an office, not a public venue. For visitors, the time to engage is Berlinale season, when the TEDDY gala and queer screenings take place. Check teddyaward.tv for dates and tickets.
