Bürgerpark is Bremen's big landscaped park, starting just north of the main station and running up towards the Stadtwald. Cruising guides have listed it for years as the city's main outdoor gay cruising area, with activity on the wooded stretches and side paths off Hollerallee and Parkallee, mostly after dark. It is a public park used by joggers, families and dog walkers, and cruising here is tolerated rather than organised.
