The Bullenwiese is a nudist (FKK) meadow on the north shore of the Sieben-Meter-Teich, one of the Ricklinger Kiesteiche gravel-pit lakes on Hannover's south-western edge. It is a public bathing spot used by everyone, not a gay venue, but this part of the shore is where the city's gay men sunbathe and swim. It is busiest on hot weekend afternoons from June to August. There are no facilities, so bring water and shade. Other bathers and families use the lakes too, so keep anything beyond sunbathing out of sight.

It's a wonderful piece of nature. It's a good strolling area for families with children. There are small paths among the trees. These paths are fun for children.
