Aasee

The Aasee is Münster's large lake park, just southwest of the old town. Gay guides have long named it as the city's main outdoor cruising area, centred on the wooded paths of the northern shore near Annette-Allee. They say it's busiest on warm evenings from spring to late summer. We can't confirm how active it is now. During the day the park is full of families, students and joggers, so be discreet. Germany is safe for LGBTQ+ people, but public-indecency rules still apply. Keep your valuables on you and stay out of isolated corners late at night.
