One of the oldest hotels in Nuuk. Huge but be careful in the room selections

Location great, close to Old Nuuk which is my favorite part of Nuuk. Room is like in Europe, small but functional, middle of the night people making noise on the 5th floor which we were on the 4th floor. Be aware they charge hefty fees if you use credit card, a surprise to us, — we had to go to the grocery store next door using ATM to avoid the hefty fees.

Overpriced and disappointing. We were lured in by the good reviews. My husband's meal was okay, but my lamb was tiny, very fatty, and of poor quality. Overall, the prices were far too high for what was offered. Very disappointing. The service was friendly. NOT RECOMMENDED!

This is more like a nice 3 star hotel with a 2 star bathroom. I stayed in a suite at the hotel, which is known to be one of the nicest in the city. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms were very basic and like all hotel rooms we experienced in Greenland, they are all very hot and require a window to be left open to cool it off. However, being on the first floor above the entrance any time the window was left open it would smell like cigarette smoke due to the designated smoking area being under our room. The hotel in reality was a three star hotel in need of a modest upgrade. The only part that really was lacking was the bathroom. It was incredibly tiny - you could not shower without touching at least one wall or curtain (and I’m an average size adult male). The bathroom sink, despite being a suite, was one of the tiny ones where you cannot wash both hands at the same time as it was too small. Overall it was a pleasant stay but not a luxury or 4 star hotel by any western standard. Not sure it was worth the high prices.

Nice Hotel, room was rather small but large enough for one night and very quiet. The restaurant was outstanding with a fish buffet in the evening! in the city center, easy to access by taxi or by airport bus, across the street from a collection of interesting local shops.
