We stayed here again, this time for a university event with the whole family (3 rooms). Everything worked out perfectly, suite as always great, Service great, breakfast good!
A high-quality place with professional and friendly staff. Apart from us, almost only foreigners stayed here, the hotel is apparently most popular with Germans. The sauna can be booked separately. The historic city center is a few minutes walk away.
Ghastly hotel. Atmosphere of a morgue...rude and sulky staff. Everything is extra (after the fact!): even tried to charge extra for clean sheets! So depressing, sad and gloomy. No idea of customer service. As far as I could tell, very few gusets, unsurprisingly!
Great hotel just a few minutes walk from the center of Pecs. The staff is very friendly and spoke English very well. Breakfast is well done and was a very welcome way to start our days in Pecs. There is limited parking on the street, and if it is taken, there are spots available for use for hotel guests but you will need to pay a small fee for it. Be advised, the entrance to the hotel parking is narrow. We did not realize we could have stayed parked on the street for the weekend and parked our van in the hotel lot, receiving a couple scratches on the side in the process as it was night. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Even though it was February, the room did get warm one night (we like sleeping in a cool room) and so we opened the window and were pleasantly surprised to find how quiet the area was. We previously tried to turn on the air conditioner and although the unit would turn on, the blower did not. The room thermostat showed 23 degrees even though the thermostat was set to 20. We did not raise this with the staff as the open window served our purpose and the fresh air was welcome. Highly recommend this hotel and if we return to Pecs we would be glad to stay here again.
Beautiful hotel, wonderful service. Staff speaks multiple languages. Breakfast included and no need to go elsewhere; Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. When visiting next, we will definitely be back!
A really nice hotel. So clean and perfect room. The staff were very kind and helpful. I loved it! For sure i will visit again in my next visit 🙂 the breakfast had a small buffet but delicious. Especially the panini.
Spent 2 nights in this hotel with my wife, and I must say that we were not pleased with the services at all. In general the room was clean, however in the bathroom the soap dispenser was empty and I literally had to argue with the staff to get a refill (which I never received) in fact they said that it is not possible that there is no soap in it. Breakfast was okay, however we had to wait quite a lot for refills there too, for example for water?! The other thing is that, if you want to use the sauna (which is why we picked this particular accommodation) you need to pay extra fee (little bit more than 8 euros) to get it turned on, also you need to pay extra if you want to park your car near the hotel (even on weekend days when it is free anyway). Overally not terrible experience, but kind of a ripp off, didn't offer anything beyond the average.
We had 1 night at this adorable hotel while travelling from Kosice to Sarajevo. We had the room on the top floor that is shown in the pictures. It is exactly as depicted - a king bed, sloped roof, two skylight-windows in the ceiling, a little desk, and a comfy chair. Coffee and tea facilities (instant coffee) as well as a safe were provided. The room was squeaky clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Pull down blinds prevented the sun from coming in at 5:45 AM. The A/C worked well and the bathroom was sparkling and well-appointed with hairdryer and toiletries. Water pressure was good, however, the handheld shower device (there is no rain shower) was twisted to an unfortunate angle that made using it without actually holding it very difficult. That and the fact that there were no washcloths were the only shortcomings. Location is perfect, parking in their outdoor lot on site supplied at very reasonable cost, and the breakfast was in a bright, attractive room with decent variety of items including an offer to do freshly scrambled or fried eggs for us. They even had separately packaged gluten-free bread for my husband. The laundry facilities mentioned under hotel amenities is not a self-serve laundry, but rather a laundry service. You hand over your dirty clothes and money to a staff and they bring you back clean ones. Not terribly useful unless you are staying for at least a couple nights. I can’t end this review without giving a shout out to Kira, who jumped into action to help us locate my handbag that I had left in a restaurant hundreds of kilometres away. She provided that gracious assistance promptly and with a smile. Thank you, Kira. We recommend this charming hotel.
Located 100 m from the main square of Pécs, great location with its own private parking. Reception is very nice, room is perfect. Breakfast is outstanding! Great coffee, with local acacia honey, delicious tea with fresh lemon juice, ample selection. If a quality breakfast is important, come here! Good value for money
