Terrazza Gallia is the rooftop restaurant and cocktail bar of the Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a luxury hotel on Piazza Duca d'Aosta next to Milano Centrale station. The terrace looks over the station's façade and the Porta Nuova towers, and it's at its best around sunset. The menu is modern Italian, and prices are in the upper tier. It's a mainstream hotel restaurant, comfortable for gay guests but not a gay venue. Book ahead for terrace tables in summer. Milan's gay bar area on Via Lecco, near Porta Venezia, is about 15 minutes' walk away.

Food very expensive yet very average. They bring u stuff that is not what the menu says. Service is truly pathetic for the price u pay. Atmosphere is NOT cosy or sophisticated, rather cold plain and unsophisticated

The terrace is very nice, but the service is a bit cold. Otherwise, nothing to complain about: the drinks are very good and well-made, and the atmosphere is very refined.

Waiters were kind and attentive, very nice modern place with a beautiful view, good air conditioning, it was open when most lounges nearby were closed until 5:00 pm, also very close to the central station
