It is the most famous and oldest public park in the city, on par with the Mole Antonelliana. It is not far from the center and is located along the left bank of the Po River, between the monumental bridges Umberto I and Isabella, overlooking the hill. Inside, various outdoor sports can be practiced, and there are areas for dogs. The park features a remarkable tree heritage, interesting avifauna, multiple points of interest, bike paths, walking trails, and opportunities for sports and recreation. The park is partially accessible to people with disabilities, has a playground, and picnicking is prohibited. The beautiful Valentino Castle is no longer open for visits, and part of it houses the Polytechnic University of Turin. In front of it, there is a monument that commemorates Alberto Ascari, a Ferrari driver. Hello from Roby and Lucy Sant'Anastasia (Na)
Valentino Park is the oldest public park in the city and was born in the mid-nineteenth century. In my opinion it represents a real green lung of the city and allows anyone to take a walk in nature and to enjoy the different works of art scattered within the park. It also enjoys a beautiful location along the left bank of the Po. I recommend a visit.
The very large park and 'one of the green lungs of Turin.Ideal on hot days, here you can take long walks or bike rides admiring the beauty of the park.Inside there are several bars with outdoor chairs where you can taste the various specialties. In addition, thanks to the vast lawns and 'can lie down to rest or sunbathe.
Huge park, we were lucky enough to visit it on a very hot day. Unfortunately the medieval village still closed for renovation.
Among the most beautiful parks in Italy, as well as being huge. A part is also being restored. Many kiosks where you can have a quick lunch or grab a snack and possibility to rent Rickshaws in different points of the park. Full of people relaxing or, given the day, sunbathing and having fun. Very nice
I missed me since I did my military service at the Barracks Brunelleschi.Il park is very beautiful and its location adjacent to the Po makes it even more bewitching and suggestive. Ideal for a relaxing and healthy walk away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. To see!
This large beautiful park by the Po River is an absolute must for anyone who loves greenery, a pause from the noises of the city and the tranquility of the Po river. It is free for anyone. We had had two days of downpours, dark skies and mist, but the third day in Torino opened with sunshine, clear skies (the snow-peaked mountains were visible in the distance) and clear air even in the city centre. This was the perfect time for a long stroll in the park. There is an arboretum, which unfortunately was closed for renovation, but the other scenic park areas compensated for that admirably. We enjoyed a nice lazy hour in the excellent bar Imbarghino (a lot of vegan options, which was nice!), adored the frolicking of dogs and the laughter of children. I want to return here.
The most beautiful stage of Turin. Too bad the work in progress
Surrounded by greenery this park is spacious, alive and charming. The walks are embellished by the various attractions that the park offers, a park ready to accommodate children and the elderly, passing from a vast playground for children to long avenues for quiet walks or jogs. It was the first time I visited it and for a great lover of walking in the countryside this is really a gem in Turin. Too bad that during the period of my visit a part of the park was under maintenance ruining a bit the general mood because of the view of fences and construction sites, but otherwise it is very enjoyable.
If you want to get away from the center, this park is a must. Squirrels 🐿️ come to eat out of your hand. Beautiful nature, castle, pond with fountain. Lovely brasserie in the park.
A green place in the city where you can relax
A wonderful and peaceful place, with beautiful wildlife encounters. There's also a bench with amorous street lamps and some "little beaches" for a closer look at the river.
Beautiful park ❤️
Absolutely worth a visit in good weather
Looks beautiful in pictures, but felt a bit sketchy in real life. Overall, its just a park. If you're not already in the area I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. The famous bench is cute though!
Turin's great green lung! It's a shame it's still been under construction for years. Seeing the Fountain of the Twelve Months when the water flows is wonderful! I hope the work is finished soon so we can once again admire this beautiful park in its entirety.
A beautiful park with the Po River and lush greenery that frames the splendid Valentino Palace. Clean, well-organized, and plenty of games for children. Suitable for everyone.
Love this park and lucky to live in walking distance. Can't wait to see all the improvements once completed
