Hogelandse Park

Some more benches, a public toilet and drinking water could make it perfect.

I had a wonderful time meditating here a while ago. Despite the surrounding roads, it is still relatively quiet. There are a lot of dogs, though, which I'm not really a fan of myself. But it's nice for meeting people who do like them. ;-)

Had a fantastic walk led by Peter Gieling on the occasion of the 80th Liberation Day of Utrecht. I thought I knew everything about Utrecht East during WWII, but that turned out not to be the case.

Nice Benches

Beautiful park with different kinds of trees, some 100 to (almost) 200 years old.

Nice simple park

It is more the green yard of the historical building "Het Hoogeland". Though it has high big trees and some statues, it's too small to call a park as you walk around the park only in 5 minutes.

The large white classical villa was the former residence of the Centraal Museum Utrecht art collection. I enjoyed the sculptures around the small park.The white polar bear is to honour the Candian liberators.
