Huk, at the tip of the Bygdøy peninsula, is one of Oslo's most used bathing spots and the city's main naturist beach. The western, rocky part is the clothing-optional section, and it has long been popular with gay men on warm days. It is a sunbathing and swimming scene on grass and flat rocks by the fjord, not a cruising ground.
Bus 30 runs from the centre to Bygdøy, and a summer ferry crosses from Aker Brygge to the museum quarter. Water is cold even in July. Keep phones away from other bathers; photographing people here is not tolerated.

Nice beach, but very crowded on the hottest days. There is limited parking in the two public parking lots, so you have to allow time to wait for a free space. The beach itself is very nice, but some rocks and mud. Therefore it is a good idea to bring beach shoes for the little ones.
