Plaża Stogi (Naturist Beach)

Plaża Stogi is Gdańsk's big Baltic beach, on the Stogi side of the port northeast of the centre, reached by tram and a short walk. The informal naturist and gay stretch is to the right of the main entrance, about 15 to 20 minutes' walk along the sand towards the quieter dunes, with pine forest behind. Poland has no officially designated naturist beaches, so nudity here is tolerated rather than protected. Same-sex relationships are legal, but sex in the dunes or woods is a public-order offence and voyeurs are sometimes reported, so stick to sunbathing and swimming in daylight. There's little shade on the open sand: bring water and sun protection.
