Viking Bar

Viking Bar is a late-night bar on Rua Nova do Carvalho, the 'Pink Street' of Cais do Sodré, Lisbon's former sailors' and red-light quarter. Our sources describe it both as a gay bar and as a gay-friendly mainstream place, with a strip show around midnight; we can't confirm which description fits today. It is listed as open from the evening until 04:30, later on Sunday. Pink Street is packed with bars and gets loud and crowded on weekend nights, so it is easy to look in and move on. Lisbon's main gay bars are up the hill in Príncipe Real if this isn't what you want.
