Hotel Metropol, also known as Metropol Palace, is a large upscale hotel on Bulevar kralja Aleksandra that's been around since the 1950s and welcomes gay travelers. You'll get free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen, and a minbar in the standard rooms. Higher categories mean more space to lounge around, and some suites even come with kitchenettes, whirlpool tubs, or views of the park. The hotel's restaurant is on site, and parking won't cost you extra. It's a short stroll to the Nikola Tesla Museum and Tašmajdan Park. Kalemegdan and the Belgrade Fortress are a bit farther - about 3-4 km away - but a short taxi ride will get you there. Belgrade's LGBTQ+ scene is small and scattered around the city centre. Discretion is still a good idea in public, given the local culture.

The graduating children received a tasteless buffet, a glass of Coke, and unfriendly staff for 100e for their prom night... and yes, they received unlimited water.
