Sixta is a small music bar at Calle Calatrava 15 in La Latina, a few streets south of the Cava Baja tapas strip. It is a gay-friendly neighbourhood bar with a mixed crowd, not a gay venue. Music and conversation are the point; there is no dance floor to speak of. Our hours show it open Thursday to Saturday from around 9pm until 3am or later, and Sunday from 5pm to midnight, which fits with La Latina's Sunday afternoon crowds after the Rastro market. It is closed Monday to Wednesday. Chueca's gay bars are a 20-minute walk north.
