Soca is a large café-restaurant on Carrer de Sant Gaudenci in central Sitges, a short walk from the beach and the town's gay bar streets. It's a gay-friendly mainstream restaurant, not a gay venue. The menu leans light and California-influenced, and it opens early, at 7:30, so it works for breakfast as well as later meals.
On Monday and Sunday it closes at 17:00. From Tuesday to Thursday it stays open until 23:30, and on Friday and Saturday until 1am. Expect it to be busiest at weekend lunch and during summer and Pride season.

It's fine for occasional visits. Prices are reasonable, and they have a special menu for €26 on Sundays. Recommended.

The weekend menu is fine, though a bit pricey for what you get. I'd recommend the gratinéed zucchini, the prawn cocktail, and the Catalan-style cod. I think the turbot would be better with a garlic and parsley sauce or a properly dressed salad. The service was friendly throughout, but it was quite slow to serve both the starters and main courses.

It's a shame that the good atmosphere and good food are uncompensated by the bad mood of the old man who seems to be one of the owners.
