Moratín 7

Moratín 7 is a small gay bar at Carrer de Moratín 7, a side street off Plaça de l'Ajuntament in the very centre of Valencia, a few minutes from Xàtiva metro and Estació del Nord. It has been on the city's gay map for many years and is listed in the 2026 editions of the main gay travel directories as a cruise bar: a compact front bar with ambient music and a darkroom at the back. The crowd is mostly older local men, with tourists passing through because of the location. Listings give evening hours from about 18:00 or 19:00 until 02:00 on weeknights and 02:30 on Friday and Saturday, closed on Mondays, but the different directories disagree and we have not confirmed the hours first-hand in 2026, so check before making a special trip. Entry is free; you pay for drinks, and several guides describe them as expensive for what they are. Two independent guides also warn that some of the men inside are working and will ask for money, so go in knowing that. It occasionally hosts drag shows and small special events. Men only in practice, 18+, ID may be checked. For a first cruising night in Valencia the three dedicated sex bars (Hòmens, Nuncadigono, Tête-à-Tête) are better choices; Moratín 7 is worth knowing about because it is the only cruise-type venue inside the old town and is open on evenings when you do not want to travel.
