Yelken Balık

This was the second time my wife and I went there; we were going for our wedding anniversary. As you can see from the attached assistant, the prices are a bit high, but the staff's attentiveness, the cleanliness of the place, and the food quality are very good. I don't know if it was just us, but some types of customers bothered us, but of course, it's not a problem with the establishment.

The sun was shining, and we wanted to change tables, but the head waiter was completely sulky. We asked the same waiter about the dessert options, and he didn't list them all; we asked another waiter, and he listed even more varieties. Surely the head waiter couldn't possibly not know the different types of desserts. This is the first time I've encountered such behavior in a place like this. My boyfriend was with me; the head waiter who was sulking at us was serving two Kyrgyz women at the opposite table quite cheerfully, which was very strange. It's wrong and unbecoming for two polite customers to be treated this way in such a high-end establishment. As for the appetizers, the variety was insufficient, and the taste was mediocre. We only really liked the octopus and baby calamari. The hot starters were good. The place is visually appealing. At these prices and in this price range, there are much better places available.

The appetizers are fantastic.

The best fish I've ever had in Ankara was here. I've had Istanbul salad in dozens of places, and this is by far the best. They really make the sauce very well. The fried calamari was also delicious. The bread basket was excellent. It had 4-5 different types of bread, from cornbread to pepper bread. The waiters were very professional. The place itself is very high-quality. It's a place you'll want to go to regularly and host your guests.

This is still the best branch of Yelken; it's quieter and the people who come here seem more refined. I'd say the appetizers are above average, the octopus was good too, but my favorite was the sea bass. The plates are a bit empty because I only remembered to take photos later :). Thanks also to our waiter, Ferhat Bey, for his attention.

A clean, pleasant place; the appetizers and fish were fresh and delicious. The service was excellent. The only drawback I could mention is that the catering seemed to close early, but if that's the usual practice, there's nothing I can do about it. Thank you.

If you're going sailing, this is definitely the place to go; the service is excellent. Special thanks to Ferhat Bey for his kindness. The fish and appetizers were fantastic.
