このイベントについて
Cornwall Pride は単一のフェスティバルではなく、Truro、Penzance、Falmouth、Bodmin、Newquay などの町で1日限りのプライド・イベントをシリーズとして開催するチャリティ団体です。各イベントは正午に短い行進から始まり、その後にブースやパフォーマンスが行われます。
最初の Cornwall Pride は2008年に Truro で開催されました。
2017年には Newquay に移動しましたが、2022年に Truro の Lemon Quay に戻りました。
Truro は現在、7月に開催される旗艦イベントとなっています。2026年版は、敵対感情の高まりと National Lottery 資金の喪失により規模が縮小され、メインステージは設けられず、ガゼボのみとなり、パレードの代わりに連帯行進が行われました。
Penzance では2026年9月12日（土）に続いて開催されました。
Truro Pride 2027 は2027年7月10日（土）に予定されています。他の町の日程については、チャリティ団体のウェブサイトでご確認ください。
