Switchboard

Switchboard is a UK-wide LGBTQ+ helpline that started in London in 1974 as London Lesbian and Gay Switchboard. Trained volunteers, all LGBTQ+ themselves, offer confidential support and information by phone, email and webchat. The helpline number is 0800 0119 100. It's widely listed as open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, but we couldn't confirm current times, so check switchboard.lgbt. There are no premises to visit; the address we show is a PO box.
