Tremendous breakfast
Stayed one night as travelling onwards. Not much conversation from receptionist. Room cosy. Bed comfy. Shower not powerful enough and hard to get right temperature. Good location. Easy walking distance to retail park and pub.
Didn’t even get as far as booking a room. We were sent an invitation to get a 15% discount for a friend’s Wedding, but this isn’t applied on the website at the point of payment. . When you try to call to discuss in person, the reservations team are pretty useless and just prompt you to book rather than resolving any issues. I was asked to send an email instead, which they still have not bothered to reply to despite promising me, I would receive a reply the same day.
Matt the night staff was 100% brilliant well helpful couldn't ask for a better night with the night staff especially Matt 5⭐️
that little short woman with the glasses on the front desk, rude little woman- got too the holiday inn at 9 o clock where they turned me away because there was ‘no rooms left’ I’ve come all the way from Leeds had a long drive down and I got nothing from that little woman no sympathy no help to find another hotel absolutely nothing but a oh we’re sorry about that. Now me n girlfriend having a cosy night in the van what a fantastic evening
showed up for our room at 9pm we had booked the room at 7am this morning, we arrived to check in and where turned away after driving 6 1/2 hours, we where told there was no more rooms available and they had overbooked, we then where told to leave without any help, rude staff at receptions and 0 sympathy for the fact we now had nowhere to stay at 9pm 6 hours away from our home
