We don't currently list any dedicated gay bars or clubs in Skopje — and we'd rather say so than describe places we can't verify. Skopje has no gayborhood and no standing gay venue; the mainstream clubs the internet sometimes tags as "gay" show no real LGBTQ+ connection in their reviews.
What Skopje's scene actually runs on is organisations and events. Coalition MARGINS and Subversive Front (Skopje Queer Center) are the most active groups, and the LGBTI Support Center of the Helsinki Committee provides support and advocacy. The community's biggest moment is Skopje Pride (Parada na gordosta) each June — the first march was held in 2019 — alongside the Skopje Pride Weekend arts festival at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
For a relaxed drink, the central bars and cafés around Macedonia Square and the bohemian Debar Maalo district are the most open-minded. The one documented men's cruise venue is Valijant, a sex shop and cinema. What Skopje does offer in our listings: hotels (12) and organizations (4) — all real, checked, and kept current.
