Hotel Carlos V

I had a reservation made in April. When I arrived, they told me they had no availability, claiming a burst water pipe was the problem. The hotel seemed to be operating normally and didn't appear to have any water issues. They didn't relocate me or offer any solution. I rented a car so I could sleep that night, but they left me stranded. Afterward, I had to find a hotel in Tafí del Valle, two hours away from where I had rented. I am already taking legal action regarding this incident; this will not be swept under the rug. I traveled 1200 km only to be left stranded. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

DO NOT GO! We booked four rooms a month in advance, and upon arrival, they had no availability. They only gave us three and refunded a mere $30 of the $100 we had paid for two days. The people who didn't get a room had to share a makeshift room with beds in terrible condition. Furthermore, they rent out the halls for parties, and you can hear absolutely everything from the rooms. You can't rest during events or in the early hours of the morning when they're dragging furniture around and setting up or taking down the hall. You have to constantly ask for toilet paper, and the breakfast coffee is awful, completely watered down. If you ask them to heat water, they charge you for it. Terrible organization and very bad service. I absolutely do not recommend it.

Right in the city center. Comfortable rooms. Nicely decorated. Spacious lounge. Breakfast could be much better.

Simple hotel with all amenities!!!

The restaurant was impeccable.

The location is excellent; I didn't stay at the hotel, I attended a conference. Unfortunately, we had lunch and dinner in the hotel's main dining room (not the bar out front). Not recommended. A bad choice if you have to pay for catering.

Old hotel with damp problems. Tile floors. The bathroom is small. Damp ceilings. Clean. Good Wi-Fi. Average breakfast. The restaurant is good.

The hotel is centrally located but in need of maintenance. It's also uncomfortable and lacks its own parking. When there are parties on the ground floor, it's impossible to sleep comfortably. The service is terrible; the only redeeming feature is the small staff, like Hugo (at reception) and Luis (waiter). The food is tasty but always cold and limited. Breakfast has little variety and poor quality. I don't recommend it.
