Parque La Carolina

Nice, spacious place

A nice big park with lots of things to do. There are sports courts, playgrounds for kids, playgrounds for dogs, a small lake for paddle boats, a running course, a botanic garden, etc. Since it is one of the most popular parks in the city, it can get pretty crowded on the weekends.

A New York-style Central Park, with large green areas, a lagoon, a Botanical Garden, and many areas dedicated to various sports activities for the family.

One of the best parks for running and training, and it has parking.

If you want to see Quiteñas enjoying family, play various sports, children playing on various fun equipment or just enjoying some green space then Parque La Carolina is perfect. There are many more activities in the park that can be fun like a paddle boat ride or watching skate boarders. If you are a jogger or runner join other in the morning or anytime with many paths to choose from or just on the sidewalk around the park. There are multiple food vendors selling typical Ecuadorian foods.

Park Carolina is really a locals park for them to enjoy some green space, exercise, walk dogs etc. Nothing from a tourist point of view, it’s located next to botanic gardens, maybe a quick look at this park only if visiting botanical gardens.

Such a beautiful park and so much going on and to see. Beautiful experience and was within walking distance from our Hotel.

Very magical place.. is very spacious and comfortable. It's not very safe but in certain areas. You need food of more variety they lack that. Admission to the attractions is very expensive.

It's a very big park and there are a lot of people on weekends. However, in the morning and at night, even when there are people, there seem to be incidents of robbery and so on, so it is better to be careful.

It is a good place to rest, play sports, walk. Spend a different day outdoors. It's very big with several things to do sports

Fantastic any day but super popular on the weekends. Plenty to do, see and eat. Definitely the Central Park of Quito in a great area.

Quiet city, quiet area (La Carolina park). Good food. On those days with a lot of rain, but still, it was a pleasant visit.

With a variety of activities, central location, and lots of open space, the park offers something for everyone to do on a sunny day.
