Terrible

Literally people arrived after us (behind us in line). The bouncer said we couldn't get in because it was at full capacity even though there was 15 people max in there and then they let those people in 3 seconds after us after rejecting us And we contested and we said " they were behind us!?"and they said "they were here earlier" but it was clearly bullshit and she had a caught look on her face. Very disapointed as queer women that we got skipped and didn't even get in there and they were so disrespectful

Diamond pulled out a pitcher filled with water, a lemon and a bunch of quarters. We sat there for hours trying to balance quarters on that lemon floating in the pitcher. She also “quik’d up” my PBR (I consented) (quiking it up is when you add some Nesquik to the drink you’re drinking.) *note, Quiking it up may be a Diamond only offer while the coffee and cigarettes is on the cocktail list* *also note, I much preferred the regular PBR I was given following my quik’d PBR.* August 19th (9minutes post midnight) update I just took a shot of Uncle Kevin’s Mid Balls. A shot that bartender Kevin had bestowed upon me. A couple people within the bar were already familiar and I’ve heard mixed reviews. Do NOT let the name of this shot fool you, it is not as salty as advertised, it is indeed mid and it was poured by Kevin. The creative beverages are just pouring out like sweat here at Sweaty Betty’s.

The dive bar of dreams! Stumbled upon this place on a Monday night looking for a quiet drink and we were welcomed like long lost friends. Dog-friendly, queer-friendly, local drinks, top atmosphere. The only thing that disappointed us was that it was the last night of our holidays so we wouldn’t get to go back!

An absolutely lovely bar and an absolute must visit in my opinion. The atmosphere is downright magical, the entire space is a feast for the senses, and I don't think I've ever met so many lovely and amazing people in a single place. The staff are fantastic, friendly and professional and they really add to the vibe of the place. Very LGBTQ+ friendly as well.

I had absolutely the most redeeming experience here this weekend. It was humid. I was grumpy from work and having to drive in form KW. Sweaty's was our ultimate goal And then we'd just fought through people tumbling out of every restaurant closing at once on Ossington. We just wanted to chill. and when we got there it was like the end of the floor is lava. It's a place for simple drinks and an agreement be kind and true. They love dogs as well, which tends the draw a good crew. + Thanks to the brave doorperson. And Harvey the dog. And others.

One of my fave bars in the city

It's been a while since we visited Toronto. But Betty's keeps popping in my mind in the sort of way that I wanna go get a drink there but then remember its on the other side of the Atlantic! It was the only place we went to multiple times during our stay for good reason. Vibes on point, drinks spot on and the hospitality was just fantastic. Mae, Peter and the rest of the team we met, we love you all and can't wait to return xx
