Kura Botanica Hotel

Highly recommended staying at Kura Botanica! Staff was excellent and very accommodating! Pool was literally empty every day which really surprised us but if you dont have a car (we didn't) then it's a good place to hang out. The hotel is in the BEST location! So many shops and restaurants and so close to Punda. Walking distance to so much!! We had the best time and I would recommend 100%!

The hotel is located within Kura Hulanda Village. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The Wi-Fi is very good.

This is a wonderfully placed hotel in the heart of Willemstad that shows off it's charm the second you walk through the lobby. The staff are so kind and it's a genuine kindness, not the fake 'doing my job' type of kind. The rooms have so much character from the furniture to the balconies. And the smell??? I am intoxicated by the Kura Botanika scent. I would cross the ocean just for that..... and hope to do so again in the future. If you like being in the heart of where everything is, this is the place for you.

Staying here felt like stepping into a dream. From the moment we arrived, Miguel welcomed us with such genuine warmth and care that our stay became a romantic and unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is breathtaking—elegant, distinctive, and full of character. Our room was luxurious and incredibly spacious, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the charming village of Kura Hulanda, a place that captures your heart the moment you see it. Every member of the staff made us feel truly valued and cared for. A special thank you to Derrel, the barman, who perfected the art of balancing engaging conversation with impeccable service. He made every evening feel memorable. This was a truly exceptional stay, and it will remain one of our most treasured travel memories.

I just got back from this place and I miss it already. The location is amazing, inside a very lovely and colorful village. It’s also near to a lot of restaurants and stores and everything you might need. Kura is a silent oasis where we can chill, specially by the pool. Everything is well maintained and you are surrounded by nature and beautiful trees! The pink suite is very private, spacious and very comfortable. There’s coffee (lavazza, great brand), tea and water as amenities, and also a sleeping kit and moisturizing cream. The shampoo they offer is also great! Everything works just fine, I was so happy with my choice! The staff is also very helpful and friendly. The only thing that can get better is if one day they make breakfast at the property. I was amazed to see how the keep the surroundings, it is like traveling back in time.

It's a bed and breakfast, not a traditional hotel. At €170 per day in the off-season, it's overpriced because it doesn't deliver what it promises. It's very centrally located and quiet, near the Emma Bridge. There's no on-site restaurant, only a pool bar open from 2 pm to 10 pm. Breakfast is served in another hotel, THE FREEDOM CAFE (not very good; see review), from 7 am to 10:30 am, about a 5-minute walk away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All the rooms in Building B had no windows that could be opened. This is very inconvenient if you need fresh air to sleep. The mattress topper keeps slipping out because it can't be secured. If you're lucky, which is rare, a cruise ship might be parked right outside your window, as they usually dock in the outer harbor. Unfortunately, there are many dilapidated buildings around the hotel, which look rather depressing.

AMAZING! It was hard to leave. For me, the hotel was one of the best parts of the trip. The place is calm, quiet, with trees and plants that make up a very beautiful garden. The pool is inviting, great for relaxing after the beach or reading a book around it to the sound of birds. The rooms are comfortable, cozy and clean. The air conditioning works very well. The pool bar is a very pleasant space and Derrel's service is top-notch! The drinks he makes are meticulously prepared and he is a very friendly person. The entire staff is helpful and kind. The manager Miguel was very cordial, he speaks Portuguese. The hotel has ample parking for those who are driving. The location is excellent for exploring Otrobanda and Punda on foot. It is also possible to walk to the market. The breakfast, which is served at the Hotel Freedom, was very tasty every day. I loved my stay at the Kurá Botanica Hotel and I intend to return!
