Asociación Hombres y Mujeres Nuevos de Panamá

The Asociación Hombres y Mujeres Nuevos de Panamá (AHMNP) is Panama's oldest LGBTQ+ organisation, founded in the 1990s and granted legal recognition in the mid-2000s after a long dispute with the authorities. Its work covers HIV prevention and sexual-health services, human-rights education and advocacy, and it has been one of the groups behind Panama City's Pride march. There is no public street address in this listing, so contact the association through ahmnp.org before trying to visit. For visitors it is mainly useful as a source of current information on local services and community events.
